Transition Football Trophy

Eleven of our Year 6 children competed in the inaugural Transition Trophy hosted by Ysgol Eirias. We were joined by two 'on loan' pupils from Ysgol Maes Owen who will also be transferring to Eirias in September.

They were split into two teams and competed with teams from Pen y Bryn, Llandrillo, Pendorlan and Llandulas. Both teams performed really well, but it was the A team who reached the final after a string of high-scoring victories.

The final was a tight affair with chances few and far between. In the end it came down to sudden-death penalties. Our keeper, Josef, made two excellent saves and the trophy belonged to St Joseph's.

This was a fantastic effort. Mr Wilkinson had told everyone that there were going to be some very good teams and we should just go and enjoy ourselves.
