Year 6 visited Nant BH Outdoor Education Service near Llanrwst for a 3 day residential course. This is always a much anticipated event and this year took place much earlier than usual. Considering it was January, we were very fortunate with the weather. The children took part in a range of challenging activities (including climbing, canoeing and gorge walking) and learnt to take increasing responsibility for their equipment, personal hygeine and own safety. They were an excellent group, who showed genuine concern and support for one another and faced all challenges in a positive frame of mind. The service provided by the staff at Nant BH as part of Conwy Education Department is second to none and we hope we can continue to offer (and help finance) this experience for future classes in our school. Well done to everybody involved.
