The children excelled themselves! Their performances on both nights was nothing but outstanding especially in the incredible heat!. They acted, sang, danced, clapped and cheered from their hearts. It was an extra special time for the pupils of year 6, who were performing in their very last St Joseph's School Concert. All the pupils were overwhelmed with the standing ovations they received and it is a performance that will stay in their memories for a very long time. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Rehearsals Filming in the woods......As part of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory play, a group of pupils were given the chance to dress up as monsters and oompa loompas and film in Pwyllcrochan Woods. It was a fine day and the pupils had a fantastic time................ Dancing Squirrels...... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory This years Juniors production is a presentation of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The pupils are currently working on learning the script, creating props such as lolly pops, giant television screen, factory setting, creating tickets, programmes, posters and learning songs. All this work develops and uses pupil skills such IT, literacy, numeracy, team work, art and listening skills. The pupils are very enthuastic in the preparation and are having fun!
