Bay Gallery is community gallery set up as a small charity by a group of volunteer artists to help local artists promote and sell their artwork in a professional setting. 

This year they opened a competition to local schools for pupils to design a Christmas card and we are pleased to announce that Evlyn Jacob was voted the overall winner, with a first prize of £25 and £100 for our school. 

Irene Jacob came 1st and Iola Villamayor 2nd place in the primary school category. They both won £10 each. Congratulations and well done to all three girls!

Once again, the pupils produced fantastic Christmas hats to have with their Christmas lunch.  After lunch the pupils were treated to a performance of  Robin Hood by the Bitesize Theatre Company. A great time was had by all!

Today the pupils of year 1 & year 2 performed their dress rehearsal of their Christmas Concert titled "Star of Wonder.  Their singing and performances was outstanding. 

There will be  another performances on Monday 16 December at 6pm.

Many thanks  to parents who provided the outfits and credit also to all the Year 1 & Year 2 Staff for a brilliant job with all the scenery and music. Well done all! 

Pupils from Juniors had a fantastic time performing their great many talents they have in aid of the Philippines.  We had singers, dancers, musicians, gymnasts, human worms, a Pogo stick performer, footballers and a dolphin (of sorts)! The event was compared by Matthew Russell, who did a wonderful job introducing all the acts. The infants were a great audience and looked liked they were having just as much fun!  

Well done to everyone who participated in the show!
(We didn't realise how much hidden talent we have here in St Joseph's!)
