Thank you to all volunteers

As cuts to funding continue, we are more and more appreciative of the vital contributions made by our army of school volunteers. It’s only when you start trying to count them, that you realise how lucky we are......

• We have six parishioners/grandparents who come in once a week to listen to readers.
• Another two come along to assist with weekly Maths groups.
• For many years, a kind volunteer has given a day of her own time, every week, to run our school library.
• Our beautiful grounds are maintained by parents and school staff - in their own time.
• After half term, our choir and a new Mini-Vinnies group will be starting up thanks to several parishioners/parents.
• PTA committee members work tirelessly to raise funds and build a more cohesive school/parish community.
• Members of the Governing Body spend many hours, every half term, in meetings and visits to school as they oversee evaluation and development of our school.
• Finally, in recent times, a number of parents/family members have made very generous contributions to purchase vital equipment for our pupils.

To all those who give to St Joseph’s, thank you - your contributions are invaluable.
