It was worth the wait! Following, last week’s postponement, due to the weather, our annual St David’s Fair took place this Saturday and it was a huge success. The wonderful raffle, packed full of desirable prizes and a wide range of stalls to interest adults and children, meant that this was our most successful St David’s Fair. In all we raised over £1400. A huge thank you to all those who made this happen. Firstly, our reinvigorated PTA who planned the whole event - they begged local businesses, enlisted the support of Bangor University, involved the parish, planned the layout, made the signs, set the hall up and simply made everything work. Secondly, thank you to those local businesses and Bangor University for supporting our school. Next, thank you to all the school staff who worked on stalls, prepared the hall and cleared up afterwards. Also, a really special thank you, and well done, to Year 6 children who planned and ran their own stalls. Finally, thank you to all parents, families and parishioners for coming along and spending your money to support our pupils. ‘Grow in Love’ is an easy thing to say but can be more difficult to see, but any new visitors to our school, this morning, would have a good idea of what our mission statement is all about.
