Last week, our school choir gave their first two performances of the Christmas season. On Saturday, at the School/Parish Christmas Fair, they sang in the Parish Centre for delighted parents, families and parishioners. On Thursday, they visited Merton Place Nursing Home, where they brought Christmas cheer to all the residents and staff. In previous years, we have visited with a choir numbering around 10-12 pupils, however, thanks to Miss Copp and Mrs Davila, the choir has become very popular. This year, 37 pupils went to Merton Place!
They have four performances remaining. Next week, they will be singing in Weatherspoons, in Colwyn Bay and in the final week of term, they will perform in the Bayview Shopping Centre, at the Old Convent of Mercy and at our school Carol Service. If you haven’t heard them yet, please come and join us at our Carol Service on Wednesday 19th December at 6pm.
