Diocesan Grandparents Week

In support of Wrexham Diocese Grandparents Week, we held a special Friday Assembly. We were joined by more than 30 grandparents and other family members for what was a lovely celebration of the care and support given by all our grandparents.

The children had written about why their grandparents were so special and those children chosen to read their work out brought happy tears to many adult eyes.

After the assembly, many stayed behind to enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits served by Year 6 children. We are considering inviting families to more of our assemblies and making Friday coffee a more regular feature. Thank you to all those who attended.
