Today, the children all came in their own clothes and have been completing a wide range of activities related to ‘BBC Children in Need’. At this worrying time, for many families, we stressed that donations were optional. However, when we counted the money we still raised over £300. We were told that ome children were donating their own birthday or pocket money. Thank you all so much.
Last night, we were given a timely reminder that there are many needy children living in our own town. After a church request to support a local mother and baby, we have been inundated with clothes, food, bottles and nappies. St Joseph’s is a special community. This response prompted us to think. Surely, with so many eager to help others, there is no reason for any family to be left wanting for essential items this winter? So, we are going to request that if anyone needs something, they private message school. We will then put the request out to our followers and see what happens. Together, we can make things better for everyone. Grow in Love.
