Annual Report to Parents Meeting

The governors were pleased to meet with an excellent turn out of parents at Wednesday night’s meeting. A lot of valuable discussion took place, which resulted in a clear path to follow in order to further develop our school mission.

The following were the key points.....

• Promote and further develop the profile, role and impact of the PTA
• Ensure all letters are made available on the school website
• Make increased use of Twitter and the school website to share pictures of school life and learning
• Ensure all eligible parents are aware of free school meal entitlement and the related funding benefits to school
• Invite parents and other family members to more Friday assemblies and offer refreshments through the PTA
• To consider advertising the position of a second parent governor to further increase parental voice on the governing body
• To further develop school/parish integration

Governors, staff and parents will be working hard over the coming months to put these plans into action. Genuine thanks to all who have participated in this discussion and planning, as we continue to ‘Grow in Love’ together.
