Q. Who are the Year 3 staff and when are they there? A. The teachers are Mrs Taylor (who teaches on Mondays and Tuesdays) and Mrs Evans (who teaches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Mrs Jenkins is the Year 3 Teaching Assistant who works with the class every morning.
Q. Is there snack in Year 3? A. Yes, but unlike in Year 2, children must bring in 20p each day and buy their snack from the Snack Trolley. This cannot be paid through ParentPay and may not be available if Covid restrictions still apply.
Q. Will there be normal school meals? A. Meals will be available and are payable on ParentPay
Q. Can I get support with buying uniform? A. Children starting Year 3, whose families are in receipt of certain benefits, are entitled to a grant of £125 to support purchases of uniform. Q. Are we back to normal start time (8.55am) and normal end time (3.15pm)? A. Yes.
Q. Will Breakfast Club and After School Club be available? A. As far as we know, both will be running as normal.
Q. Will music lessons be available? A. Yes, forms will be sent out in the first week of term. If your child is in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6 they can choose from piano, brass, woodwind, guitar, drums or violins.
